So mom and dad got Jesse and me The Love Dare for Christmas last year. It sat on our bookshelf for over six months and I finally picked it up the other day. It is basically 40 days and 40 different things to do to help improve your marriage. So I thought I'd give it a go.
Day one was that you had to essentially NOT say anything negative to your spouse. Accomodate them in everything and not fight.
Oh, my GOSH! I didn't think I'd survive day one. Day one turned into day three...and day four. Finally, on day four...I managed to make it only arguing ONCE. Woe is me, I think I'm a terrible wife.
Stay tuned. For day two/four, I am required to do something unexpected and kind for him.
This should be interesting...and it COULD be fun. ;)
